The boy became sad and when he looked at those stones in his hands he remembered the old man's saying "if you want a thing from your heart than the whole universe conspires to help in achieving your dream". Even after losing his all money, he used his all experiences and somehow survived in that unknown place. This built his faith stronger. One day he went to an old shop of crystals he offered him that he could clean his all crystals if he gave him food. When Santiago was cleaning crystals two men arrived in the shop and purchased items from the shop. This was after a very long time that someone had come to his shop. The shop owner also has faith in omens. That man offered him a job But Santiago didn't want to do a job there he told him that he wanted to reach pyramids. The man told him that the pyramids were thousands of kilometer from there and it would take a lot of money due to this again Santiago's mind was started changing he thought that he should do hard work earn money and return and to start the same life with his sheep.
Slowly working there he started applying his ideas an many ideas were working and in this way, the shopkeeper and Santiago were both earning well. The shopkeeper did not stop him because he had sympathy for Santiago and he thought that his shop was a part of Santiago's destiny. One day when he had gathered money he was returning to Spain he went to the shopkeeper to take blessings the shopkeeper predicted that he won't be able to go back. Santiago then started thinking all the past and thought that he could return to Spain and start his life whenever he wants but the chance of visiting pyramids would never come again to him.
Now again he had changed his mind and started his journey to the pyramids. He reached a warehouse there he met an English man that man was similar to Santiago in many ways. He also knew about the stones. This was again an omen for Santiago then they moved along with a caravan that is going to Egypt, that caravan was moving from a desert. During the journey both Santiago and English man become good friends and they started talking about the philosophy of life and destiny. They were talking that like everything in the journey of our life is pre-planned. Every second step is connected with our earlier step. While talking to that man Santiago got to know that the English man was searching an alchemist who could convert copper into gold. At one step they got to know that wars were happening between the tribes, but they couldn't move back and when you cannot return then it is the only good option that you continue moving forward.

The next day the English man with that boy move to search the alchemist. They were standing near a well there a woman in a black dress. Someone had told him that it was not allowed to talk with a married woman there.
She was beautiful that Santiago kept looking at her and the very first time he understood the language of love which is universal. His heart was saying to him they are made for each other, on asking by Santiago the girl told her name, Fatima.
Now every day he started going the well for fifteen Minutes to met her, who had become his life. Due to the long going war they couldn't move Forward from the Oasis But to stay there now that girl also fell in love with Santiago and they had come closer.
Santiago had told her everything about his life and the treasure. Fatima advised him that he never stop his search, now he had two options, one was to stay in the Oasis and find his answer and another was to take the way of the desert. Then again Santiago Started his Journey through the Deserts. Then again he saw one more Omen and he got a vision of an attack on the Oasis. He returned to the Oasis and informed about the attack to the Chief of the Oasis they didn't trust him and started laughing on him. They told him that they will prepare their army but if the attack wouldn't happen they would punish him. This is the story of a boy named Santiago. He was living in Andalusia, Spain. His family wanted that he become a priest but has a dream to travel around the world and to see different places. One day his father told him that if he wanted to live this dream then he had to become a shepherd because shepherds get the chance to travel freely.
So this way Santiago becomes a shepherd. Santiago was going to a town Tarifa. The last time when he visited that place there he met a girl and Santiago fell in love with her. This year again he was thinking to meet her. In the night when he was sleeping in an old church under a tree, he had a dream that he was going to the pyramids in Egypt where he gets a treasure. He waked up because this was not the first time that he had had this dream. The next morning he went to the town and met a gypsy lady that lady told him that she would help her but when he would found hid treasure he has to give 10% that to her. Santiago agreed and she told him the same he had seen in his dream looking at his hand. When Santiago asked her the way to reach there she told him that she didn't know.
